Actresses, writers, directors, but first of all women. The festival features 10 films in the original photograph inner and outer landscapes, histories experienced at first or third person, told with the watchful gaze of the eye of women, always ready to penetrate the heart of things and experienced people. The journey in the women's film begins with Kinuyo Tanaka, first director in the history of Japanese cinema, continuing with the works of documentary Sumiko Haneda, the award-winning Naomi Kawase until the recent work of young talent as director Naoko Ogigami, Nami Iguchi, and Setsuko Shibuichi, author of an interesting animated film focuses on World War II. All films are in the original Japanese version with subtitles in English, except for The Far Road (Long Road), subtitled in Italian.
